Russian President Vladimir Putin has said western claims that the Kremlin will attack NATO are just “utter nonsense”. Putin said, “The claims that we are going to attack Europe after Ukraine – it is utter nonsense and intimidation of their own population just to beat the money out of them.” Russia, on the other hand, said NATO activity in Black Sea, referring to Romania’s plans to expand its military base near the Black Sea, is aimed at preparing allies for conflict with Moscow.
