Russia displays Iskander, S-400 at Victory Day Parade; Putin justifies invasion

Russia marks the 77th anniversary of the WW-II win against Nazi Germany, dubbed the Great Patriotic War. Putin has repeatedly likened the Ukraine war to the challenge the USSR faced when Hitler's Nazis invaded in 1941. Hitting out, Vladimir Putin said, 'Russian forces defending motherland from unacceptable threat'. Putin blamed the West for creating 'threats next to our borders' & 'preparing for the invasion of our land'. Rallying troops, Putin said, 'you are defending what your grandfathers & great-grandfathers fought for'. Russian servicemen who took part in battles in the Donbass region also took part in the military parade.
