Sexual assaults in U.S military up 13% | Department of Defense report

The number of sexual assaults in U.S military increased by 13% (Fiscal Year 2021). U.S defense report stated one in 10 female sailors experienced unwanted sexual contact. Across services, 8.4% of women & 1.5% of men experienced unwanted sexual contact. . The big increases come as all the services are struggling to meet recruiting goals. Infusion of $479MN to hire as many as 2,400 personnel for a 'prevention workforce'.
