In an exclusive conversation with Kumkum Chadha of the Hindustan Times, author and activist Binalakshmi Nepram revealed the root cause of the unabated violence gripping India's northeastern state of Manipur. Binalakshmi called Manipur violence an "engineered conflict," blaming those close to guns, drugs, and political power.
