Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong was asked about the opposition People’s Power Party’s allegation that he was “fearmongering” about tariff chaos unleashed by United States President Donald Trump. Wong said that he faced similar allegations when he set up a task force to tackle Covid-19. Notably, Wong has also created a task force to manage the likely impacts of Trump’s tariffs.
