Arrest warrant issued against Mohammed Shami, wife thanks Indian judiciary
Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami's estranged wife Hasin Jahan thanked the Indian judiciary after a court issued arrest warrant against the cricketer. The warrant was issued by Alipore court in West Bengal against Shami and his brother Hasid Ahmed in connection with a domestic violence case. The right-arm bowler has reportedly been asked by the court to surrender within 15 days. In March, the pacer was charged with domestic violence and sexual harassment by Kolkata police. Last year, Jahan took to Facebook and leveled multiple charges against Shami including domestic violence. Jahan, a former model, had filed a complaint against four in Shami's family in March 2018. Shami has, however, all along denied the allegations leveled by his wife Hasin.
