BCCI, the governing body for cricket conducted second and final players' auction for the Indian Premier League, in Mumbai on March 11 where eighteen players were auctioned, including the U-19 players. Industrialist Vijay Mallya was excited to have roped in Virat Kohli, captain of the U-19 world Champion cricket team, as a player for his Bangalore Royal Challenger's team.
