Match referee disapproves of Kanpur pitch

ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed in a statement has said that referee Roshan Mahanama of thas disapproved he pitch provided by India for the third and final Test against South Africa. India won the match by eight wickets in less than three days to square the series one-all and held on to the number two place in the Test rankings. Australian captain Ricky Ponting has expressed earlier India poses a serious threat to his team's supremacy.
