Spot-fixing: 3 Pak cricketers sent to jail

All three Pakistani cricketers were on Thursday jailed for their role in the spot-fixing case. Ex-Pakistani captain Salman Butt was sentenced to a 30-month jail term, for his role in the scandal, as well as for what the judge said was his hand in corrupting Rookie paceman Mohammad Aamir. While Mohammad Asif was sentenced to a 1-year jail term, Mohammad Aamir was handed down a six-month term. Bookie Mazhar Majeed was sentenced to two years, eight months in prison.
