Tendulkar, Ganguly rested for Bangladesh ODI

Wielding the axe, cricket selectors on Friday dropped Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly from the ODI team for the Bangladesh series while dumping Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ajit Aarkar from both the one-day and Test squads. Out-of-form batsman Virender Sehwag made the one-day team but was dropped from the test side. Vengsarkar said Tendulkar and Ganguly, however, were very much in the reckoning.
