Viru prefers to be a middle order batsman

Swashbuckling opener and vice captain of Indian cricket team Virender Sehwag asserted that if given a choice he prefers to step in as a middle order batsman. He said this on the sidelines of a friendly 5-over cricket match between his and co-opener Gautam Gambhir's teams at New Delhi on Sunday. Sehwag also revealed that he once requested the management to move him lower down in the order but his request was turned down.
