Tamil Nadu: Tiny Little Stint Arrives at Thoothukudi Wetlands

A tiny Little Stint has been spotted at the salt pans, wetlands and mudflats of Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. The migratory wader uses these nutrient-rich coastal habitats to rest and feed on insects, crustaceans and other small invertebrates during its seasonal journey.
