Garbine Muguruza beats Caroline Garcia to reach Pan Pacific Open semis

New World No. 1 Garbine Muguruza overpowered France's Caroline Garcia 6-2, 6-4 to reach the semi-finals of the Pan Pacific Open. The 23-year-old Wimbledon champion, who climbed to the top of the WTA rankings earlier this week, hardly broke sweat against the Frenchwoman on her way to victory in an hour and 20 minutes.
