A top US diplomat has now said that the United States is working towards persuading India to vote with other countries in the United National General Assembly against Russia. Assistant state secretary for South and Central Asia, Donald Lu's statements came after India abstained for the third time in a week, from a vote on the UNGA resolution on Wednesday. He said that all attempts to convince India have failed so far. "Let me say that all of us have been working to urge India to take a clear position, a position opposed to Russia's actions. But what have we seen so far? We have seen a number of abstentions," Lu said. Watch this video for more details.
