U.S. Invokes Press Freedom After Raids On NewsClick In India Over China Links | Watch

The United States has said that it’s aware of the alleged links between Indians news portal NewsClick and China, but cannot comment on the veracity of the claims. NewsClick was raided by Delhi Police Special Cell on October 3 and its founder Prabir Purkayastha was arrested under the anti-terror law UAPA. Washington also said that it strongly supports a robust global media and raises media concerns with countries including India.
