US Election 2020: Kamala Harris’ full speech as she makes history as VP elect

Kamala Harris thanked voters during her victory speech and said that while she may be the first woman to be Vice President but she will not be the last. Harris said that voters have chosen hope, unity, science and truth during the elections. 'You chose hope and unity and yes truth,' Harris said. She also remembered her mother and said that generations of women have worked, fought and sacrificed for liberty and equality in the US. She further added that she work for Biden the way he had for former President Obama. She said that she would be loyal, honest and will have the best interests of all Americans in mind while taking all decisions. She said that the road ahead will not be easy but they will fight for US. 'The road will not be easy, but America is ready and so are Joe and I,' Harris said during her speech.
