U.S. deployed two drone ships at a port near Tokyo, Japan in the Western Pacific. This is the first such deployment by Washington close to China in the region. The unmanned U.S. Navy vessels - Ranger and Mariner - arrived in Yokosuka on September 18. The vessels could aid the Navy in tracking China's fleet and even provide attack options.
