Google 'Backtracks' After Removing Indian Apps From Play Store; Modi Govt Steps In | ‘Be Reasonable’

Google has relisted four Indian apps, it had removed earlier from its Play Store. A massive row erupted between Google and Indian startups, when the latter refused to pay a service fee to the tech giant for listing their apps on Play Store. Apps like Shaadi.com, and Info Edge apps were removed from Play Store. Union Telecom Minister said delisting of apps was not permitted. Ashwini Vaishnaw has scheduled a meeting with Google and the startups in question and has said that he hopes Google will be reasonable. Watch for more details.
