Iran-backed Houthi rebels launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel, targeting Tel Aviv on September 15. The Israeli defence forces said that the Arrow air defence system shot the missile down, but pieces of shrapnel fell near Gezer and other areas, resulting in damage to property. Meanwhile, nine people were lightly wounded while running to safe rooms following the sirens.
