'IMF has enslaved Pak': PM Sharif vents frustration over delay in IMF bailout

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made a big admission on the country's economic mess. He lamented that Pakistan was 'Economically enslaved' by the International Monetary Fund even after 75 years of independence. Sharif said this during his visit to a flood-affected area in Peshawar city. Pakistan has sought financial aid on an emergency basis from the IMF as it is facing its worst economic crisis in decades.
