Israel Angers Hezbollah As Shell Strikes Lebanon Amid Gaza Truce Extension Talks

An Israeli shell has reportedly landed in Lebanon amid Gaza truce extension talks. The 'attack' is likely to draw a response from Hezbollah, the armed group which has halted cross-border clashes with Israel since the temporary truce was first implemented. Lebanese media reported that the Israeli shell struck the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab on Tuesday morning. Reuters quoted an Israel Army spokesperson as saying that he was not aware of such an incident.
