India has started investigation into the claims made by the World Health Organisation over 'contaminated' cold and cough syrups that allegedly led to 66 deaths in The Gambia. The WHO on Wednesday issued a medical product alert over four cough and cold syrups made by Maiden Pharmaceuticals in India.
