Pak Journo 'Punished' For Questioning PM Shehbaz On Press Freedom; 'Media Unable To Function'

A senior Pakistani journalist was reportedly fired from state-owned PTV for asking PM Shehbaz Sharif questions on press freedom. Journalist Azam Chaudhry said he was fired hours after raising questions during a press conference. Shehbaz Sharif deflected the questions and asked the journalist to voice concerns to the Information Minister. The Pak govt later denied sacking the journalist for questioning Shehbaz on press freedom.
