Putin Fear Grips Europe? Even Before Avdiivka Fall, Survey Found EU Thinks Ukraine Can't Win War

Even as the fall of Ukraine's Avdiivka city sparks fresh fear of a Russian victory, a survey held before Putin's latest military win has revealed that confidence in Ukraine's ability to fend off the Russian attack has been waning in Europe. Around 90% Europeans believe that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia on the battlefield. Respondents in many EU countries now believe that the bloc should push Kyiv to accept a settlement with Moscow.
