Russian forces have reportedly struck French mercenaries in Ukraine after the Foreign Ministry warned that Emmanuel Macron may send 1,500 troops to help Kyiv fight in April. The alleged strike took place in Ukraine's Slovyansk over the weekend. Sputnik reported that the first batch of 100 fighters from the French Foreign Legion are in Ukraine and they mostly consist of specialists in artillery reconnaissance.
