Taliban say Panjshir 'completely captured' after Massoud calls for peace talks

The Taliban claimed that they have ‘completely captured’ Panjshir valley, the last holdout of anti-Taliban forces in the country. The claim comes a day after the head of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan. Ahmad Massoud said his Resistance Front is ready to stop fighting if the Taliban stop their attacks and the military movement on Panjshir and Andrab. Meanwhile, a resistance front spokesperson, Fahim Dashti, was killed during the ongoing fighting, said reports. The reports came after the war over the northeastern province of Panjshir escalated on Friday. Watch the full video for more.
