Tehran Fire | Tower collapses, 30 feared dead

A high-rise residential building in Tehran collapsed on Thursday following a large fire, Iranian state television reported. Authorities said at least 30 people were feared dead in the blaze that erupted in the morning hours. Many are feared trapped in the subsequent collapse of the Plasco building. Police blocked off streets around the 17-story structure, which was among the first high-rises built in the Iranian capital.
