UK Lawyer abuses, spits at Air India crew, gets jailed

Simone Burns, a lawyer from the United Kingdom, was sentenced to 6 months in prison for abusing and spitting at crew members of an Air India flight. Burns was aboard a Delhi-London flight when she got inebriated and misbehaved when she was denied more alcohol. She was sentenced to six months in prison for being drunk on a plane and two months for assault. The sentences will be served concurrently. She had pleaded guilty to the charges.
