105 Tibetan rebels surrender in Lhasa

Chinese government authorities have confirmed the surrender of 105 for their role in anti-China riots in Lhasa, that killed 13 people. The surrender came a day after the expiry of the deadline for the surrender ended. The government of the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) had set Monday midnight as the deadline for the rioters to surrender and promised leniency to those, who fell in line and harsh action to those who did not.
