Tens of thousands of people gathered in the early hours of Wednesday in Grant Park in Chicago to celebrate the historic victory rally of President-elect, Barack Obama. Obama called on all Americans to unite and meet pressing challenges. Taking the stage in his home city of Chicago, Obama told an enormous outdoor victory rally that the road ahead would be tough. Meanwhile, supporters in Chicago cheered the historic US election result and hoped for a new era in America's international standing.
