Maoists mull whether to join Nepal government

The central Maoists in Nepal continue to deliberate whether to join a multi-party interim government before this year's elections for a constituent assembly. The executive committee of the Maoists has been meeting since the last few days in Capital Kathmandu to discuss the issue. Under the November peace deal, the Maoists would join a multi-party interim government before this year's elections for a constituent assembly that will draw up a new constitution.
