Mukherjee pushes for greater cooperation

Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee held bi-lateral talks with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi on the sidelines of a South Asian security meet in Manila on Wednesday. The meeting was held to review the trade relations between the two neighbours and also to take stock of the rate of growth of trade within a stipulated period. India and China also discussed the burning issue of global warming and decided to tackle the issue jointly.
