Pak attack toll rises

The death toll in a suicide truck bomb attack in Islamabad rose to 52 on Sunday as rescue workers found more bodies at the site. An American and a German were killed while at least 13 other foreigners were among the 271 wounded. According to US intelligence official, the bombing bore the signs of an attack by al Qaeda or an affiliate. On the streets, people were worried about the deteriorating security situation.
