Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visited the holy Shi'ite city of Najaf on Thursday, where he met Iraq's top Shi'ite cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani. Shankar denounced terrorism and wanted all people to work towards non-violence. He arrived in Baghdad on Tuesday after accepting an invitation by Iraq's Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to visit the conflict-ravaged country as an ambassador of peace.
