Review treaty: Maoists

Nepal's Maoists have advocated their leader Prachanda's demand of scrapping the 1950 India-Nepal Peace and Friendship Treaty, casting a shadow on the historical ties between the two countries. C.P. Gujrel, a senior politburo member of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoists), said the problem with the treaty was that there is no provision to review the various provisions.
