Watch | Astronaut plays ping pong with liquids in space

British astronaut Tim Peake played ping pong with a glob of water and fielded questions from school children on Tuesday as part of an effort to teach them about space.Hundreds of children gathered at the World Museum in Liverpool to participate in a special question and answer session with Peake, who is currently at the International Space Station. Nearly 300,000 children in the United Kingdom were able to watch the special live feed, British Telecom reported on its website.During the 20 minute session, Peake demonstrated how liquids remain intact in space. The 43-year-old astronaut showed off special waterproof paddles he uses to play ping pong. After hitting a glob of water back and forth, Peake added a tablet to the water glob which caused it to fizz and double in size.
