Watch | Denmark lights up with Christmas cheer

Denmark kick-starts the festive Christmas season — with 11,000 Christmas trees, 30,000 ornaments and a plethora of lights! The Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen has transformed into a winter-wonderland, and the traditional Christmas hot wine is flowing. Organizers say this is just a taste of Denmark during the holidays. Jesper Kongshaug, Chief Light Designer at Tivoli, said, “We have out up 800,000 lights to give people a spectacular evening with a mixture of Danish design and technology in Tivoli Gardens.”And with the number of hours in the day in this northern country dwindling, there are plenty of LED lights here to make the spirit bright.
