A dramatic rescue took place on February 4 by deputies near Mud Mountain Dam located outside of Seattle to save a man stuck on the side of a mountain.The rescue teams was dispatched in the morning after the police got a phone call from workers at the dam alarmed by someone's screams for help.The first to arrive at the scene was a helicopter piloted by Deputy Hersh Hoaglan and Deputy John Pughwas with Sergeant Eric Muller and Deputy Josh Sweeney on board. After reaching their destination Sweeney operated the hoist and lowered Muller down to the mountain side to where the man was stranded.Muller held the 41-year-old-man while Sweeney raised them both back up on board the helicopter, after which the rescue team flew the man back to safety. The man originally got trapped on the mountain when he was looking for a place to camp and realised he could no longer move up or down the mountain.
