Watch | Here’s what Dawn spacecraft’s first year at Ceres revealed

NASA's Dawn spacecraft has just completed a year of tracking Ceres in space. And now, the spacecraft is orbiting only 240 miles above Ceres, which is closer than the Space Station is to Earth. And it will continue to return spectacular views. In its first year, Dawn has revealed some fascinating findings of the alien world. Detailed sights of Ceres highest mountain Ahuna Mons and the Haulani, Oxo and Urvara Craters, as well as the dwarf planet's brightest region, the 80-million-year-old Occator Crater, have emerged, as explained by Dawn Chief Engineer and Mission Director Marc Rayman in the video.Rayman says in the video that as the Dawn's exploration progressed, the spacecraft was able to gradually shorten its distance further to Ceres.
