Watch | Japan cafe brings customers closer to prickly hedgehogs

The Harry Hedgehog Cafe in Tokyo is out to push the spiky creatures' cuddlier side. For a fee starting at nine dollars customers can get close up and personal with a prickly companion. Staff at the cafe say the hedgehog's image needs a makeover.They want to make a point of the animals' softer side. The hedgehog cafe is part of a spike in animal-themed eateries in Tokyo where there are already establishments devoted to cats, rabbits, snakes and several types of birds.
