A video released by Amnesty International on Tuesday challenged Europeans and migrants to look directly into each other's eyes in an attempt to break down cultural barriers between them.“Look Beyond Borders” is billed as an attempt to humanize the plight of migrants and refugees in Europe. In the video the Europeans and migrants, mostly from Syria, are sat down across from each other and given four minutes to look into the other's eyes. The intimacy of the moment drives some of the strangers to become emotional, weeping or laughing. Eventually they begin talking to each other.Don't be surprised if you catch yourself smiling by the end of it.
