“I can’t give you the best advice about marriage because I don’t have a very good track record. Maybe third time likely,” the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman told guests at a family friend’s daughter’s wedding ceremony in London.

Khan, 64, took to the stage to congratulate the newlyweds and expressed hope for himself for his third time, Dawn reported.

He has earlier said that the idea of marrying for the third time is “more open than before”.

Khan joked about his previous marriages -- to Jemima Goldsmith in 1995 and Reham Khan in 2015 -- and said he can’t give the couple the best advice about marriage given his history, but he wished them all the best an yway.

Taking another jab at himself he said he hopes their marriage is more successful than his.

The crowd greeted his jokes with hoots and cheers.

The possibility of Khan marrying for a third time has been a matter of speculation in the country. Rumours had surfaced of him tying the knot in London in a secret ceremony some time earlier, but they proved to be false.
