Candace Owens doubles down on TPUSA attack amid feud with Erika Kirk; calls Charlie Kirk Show ‘fake’
Candace Owens has doubled down on her remarks about The Charlie Kirk Show amid her ongoing feud with Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk.
Conservative podcaster Candace Owens has doubled down on her criticism of The Charlie Kirk Show amid her ongoing feud with Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk. The Charlie Kirk Show is part of the Resolute Media Group, which is a for-profit venture of TPUSA. Owens, on December 12, had pointed to the show's falling ratings after Kirk's assassination on September 10, while noting that her own podcast had grown in reach.
Owens' remarks came under fire from some quarters since she's come up with numerous theories in the wake of Kirk's assassination at Utah Valley University. She's pointed to the likes of US military involvement and Israeli intervention without providing any proof.

Her remarks today were criticized because Kirk himself was the pulling factor of the TPUSA show and his demise has impacted it as a result. However, Owens refused to back down.
What Candace Owens said about Charlie Kirk Show
A defiant Owens remarked “I take back nothing. Charlie’s goal in his political life was to become the 'next Rush Limbaugh'.”
She added, “If you think Rush Limbaugh would have sat around trying to convince blue collar Americans that questioning the JFK narrative was ‘demonic’ or ‘evil’ or that he would have directed listeners to ‘STOP’ asking questions about his assassination, then you have no idea what Rush, or Charlie was made of and why they moved the masses.”
Owens further continued, “The current ‘Charlie Kirk show’ does not provide even so much of as a respectable shadow of his fighting spirit. And there are not enough Bari Weiss’ in the world to emotionally manipulate me or the common-sense driven public into thinking otherwise.” She was referring to Erika Kirk interviewing with Weiss of CBS News, where the TPUSA CEO directly addressed Owens and asked her to ‘stop’ spreading conspiracies.
In a separate comment on the same thread, the podcaster added, “'Everything is fake and gay' era.”
Her recent remarks come after Owens has already compared TPUSA with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, as she's mounted her attacks the more Erika Kirk has used interviews as platforms to seek a stop to the conspiracy theories surrounding her husband's killing.
