A protester was dragged out and tased by law enforcement during Marjorie Taylor Greene’s town hall at the Acworth Community Center in Cobb County, Georgia. Videos from the event show some in the crowd applauding as the stun gun was deployed. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, at least six demonstrators were removed from the venue, three of whom were later charged in connection with the disruption. One of them was charged with disorderly conduct.

After the event, Greene reacted to the protesters' removal.
"I'm glad they got thrown out. That's exactly what I wanted to see happen," the Republican said. “This isn't a political rally or a protest. I held a town hall tonight. You know who was out of line? The protesters.”
Security was tight at the event, with multiple law enforcement agencies on site, including the Acworth Police Department, Cobb County Police, Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Kennesaw Police, and the Georgia State Patrol, Fox 5 reported.
"As soon as the Congresswoman began her presentation, several members of the audience became disruptive and created an imminent public safety threat for all in attendance," the Acworth Police Department said in a statement. "Their intentions were clear — to place the members of our beloved police department in a no-win situation in front of numerous media outlets."
During the town hall, the Congresswoman insisted, “we're not cutting Social Security, we're not cutting Medicare.”
The comment came in response to a question about alleged DOGE efforts to cut core American benefits.
Greene dismissed the concern, telling the attendee they had been “brainwashed by the news you’re watching,” and clarified the focus was on “removing waste fraud and abuse.”
“No one has lost their benefits,” she added.
