On Wednesday (April 1), President Donald Trump is set to address the nation in a much-anticipated speech amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Unlike the usual process with POTUS addresses to the nation, this was not officially announced by the White House. Instead, Karoline Leavitt teased it in a Truth Social post.
The scarcity of details from the President at the press conference has further increased the interest in it. Amid that, reports citing sources in the White House say that Trump will speak on the Iran conflict, even though the Trump administration has not teased a major announcement.

What Times Is Trump's Announcement Today?
Karoline Leavitt said in a social media post that Trump's announcement on April 1 (Wednesday) will start at 9pm ET. As noted before, it will be his first prime-time address since the US-Israeli strikes in Iran triggered a Middle East-wide escalation.

Trump has a packed schedule on Wednesday, starting as early as 8am ET with the Executive Time, followed by an interview with Reuters at 9am ET. He then reached the Supreme Court for the birthright citizenship hearing. He returned to the White House for an Easter Lunch at 12:30pm ET.
At 3pm ET he has a policy meeting, followed by the address to the nation at 9pm ET.
What To Expect From The Address?
The White House has not announced what Trump will announce in the 9pm address on Wednesday. However, it is being widely reported that Trump is expected to speak on the situation in the Middle East. Hours before Leavitt posted about the announcement, Trump said that Iran had reached out to the US for a ceasefire, something Iran later denied.

Further indication of the announcement being related to the Iran war came with Trump's three-minute interview with Reuters Steve Holland. In it, he said that the US will be "out of Iran pretty quickly" and will engage only in spot hits. In the same interview, Trump criticized NATO and claimed that he could pull the US out of the military alliance.
Additionally, CNN's Kevin Liptak reported, citing sources, that Trump will announce a timeline to end the war within "three weeks." He is also expected to reiterate the US's objectives in the Iran war.
