The body of 37-year-old Prashila Wilson, who was six-month pregnant, was found by police divers close to the 30-metre cruiser from which she disappeared at the weekend, 'Herald Sun' reported on Monday.
Police Superintendent Michael Kenny said Wilson could not swim and her "de facto husband" Michael Seery, reported her missing on Saturday.
"Police undertook searches of the area that evening and on Sunday," Supt Kenny was quoted as saying.
"On Sunday night police divers from Sydney arrived and started their search of the marina on Monday morning. At around 11.30 am a deceased woman (Wilson) was found in the confines of the marina," he said
Supt Kenny said detectives would continue their investigations into the death of Wilson.
"The body will be taken to Newcastle where a post-mortem examination will be conducted. Tweed Heads detectives are looking at all avenues, and the investigation will continue until they've prepared their brief of evidence."
Supt Kenny said the couple, from Robina on the Gold Coast, spent a lot of time on board their cruiser, the paper reported.
