Out of 171 entries from India, two students from Hyderabad have won prizes at the 11th International Biennale of Children and Youth Graphic Art organised by authorities of Torun city in Poland.

A Prakash, aged 20, of Young Envoys International, won the prize in the main category and his schoolmate D Sujatha, aged 12, received the consolation prize in the 9-12 years age group.
The International jury which judged 14917 entries from 46 countries decided that 1010 works from 38 countries were fit for an exhibition which is currently on in Torun in Poland.
The total number of qualified entries from India were 171 and of these 15 have been placed in the special exhibition category. These entries have come Young Envoys, Hyderabad, Babanu Art Forum, Mumbai and Hobby Centre in Vadodara.
Indian Ambassador to Poland Anil Wadhwa received the awards on behalf of the two Indian students. He stated at the ceremony that the sense of competition and the will to succeed were the driving forces behind the success of the entrants.
"This was the main reason why Indian entries have been winning prizes over the past few years at this competition," Ambassador Wadhwa was quoted as saying in an Embassy release.
