The producers of Tamil thriller Thiruttu Payale, who have announced the film’s sequel, have confirmed that it will be majorly shot abroad. The announcement came on the occasion of the film completing a decade since its release.

“Just like the first part, Thiruttu Payale 2 will be predominantly shot in a foreign island on a grand scale. The story demands such level of visual grandeur and richness,” the film’s director Susi Ganeshan said in a statement.
