Ah Hindi TV! You never let one down, do you? In the latest addition to all things weird being shown on prime-time telly, Sasural Simar Ka has birthed another abomination: A demon baby.

After taking inspiration from Makkhi and turning Simar into a fly, the showmakers have now set their eyes on Rosemary’s Baby. On the lines the great horror movie, Simar is currently ‘with child’ and the one to make her pregnant is Satan himself.

A pretty witch-lady wants Simar to incubate the Satan-spawned in her womb and take it away when he is ready to come out into the world.

In the latest episode, Mataji, who has been seen filling Roli’s shoes as she accompanies Simar on her daily adventures, asks Prem Ji to get a Mata Rani-blessed kala dhaga from the bada mandir so that Simar can be kept safe from any lurking danger.

Meanwhile, the Guru Ma from Naagin has found another job in the serial, though it is not a lot different from her last one. She is seen rocking a cradle where an extremely creepy-looking doll is lying with a creepy smile on its face and creepy red eyes.

This latest plot development is only to be expected after we recently saw a gorilla fall in love with a woman in Thapki Pyar Ki, a woman return from the dead to avenge her love in Kawach and everything ever shown on Naagin.
