Arjun Kapoor is looking for India’s Most Wanted, to play intelligence officer
Even as work on Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar continues, Arjun Kapoor announced his collaboration with Rajkumar Gupta for India’s Most Wanted.
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who was last seen in Anil Kapoor-starrer Mubarakan, certainly has some very interesting projects in his kitty. Even as the work on Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar continues, Arjun announced a new film with Rajkumar Gupta - India’s Most Wanted. Arjun is rumoured to play an intelligence officer in the film.
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta of Raid fame, the film will pay tribute to unsung heroes of our society. The film will reportedly about finding and arresting a terrorist during a secret mission in which no bullets were fired.

Sharing the news with his fans, Arjun tweeted, “Honoured to be a part of an untold story that will inspire India! #IndiasMostWanted, a tribute to all the unsung heroes who dedicate their lives to protect ours. In cinemas 24th May 2019. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Co-produced by @rajkumar_rkg & @foxstarhindi”
May 11 marks Arjun Kapoor’s six years in Bollywood as it marks the anniversary of his debut film Ishaqzaade. In a long statement, Arjun wrote on Twitter, “Today feels incredibly special and I have nothing but gratitude for the universe, for my loving fans who have stuck by me, around me unconditionally for six years. Thank you for taking care of me, protecting me, rooting for me through my success and my failures. It has been a special ride and when I look back upon my journey, I would not like to change a single thing.”
About India’s Most Wanted, he twereted, “As actors we all want/search for rare stories that have the potential to inspire. ‘India’s Most Wanted’ is one such story based on true events that will make every Indian proud. ‘India’s Most Wanted’ is our tribute to the valour of those who devote their lives to protecting ours.”
The film goes to floors in August and will be shot Nepal and Delhi.
Arjun plays a 30-year-old police officer from a special unit of Haryana Police in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar that also stars Parineeti Chopra.
Arjun currently has Vipul Shah’s Namaste England alongside Parineeti, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, the Hindi remake of the Telugu Blockbuster Arjun Reddy and Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat in the pipeline.
